Full Placeholders List for Billing Information

Placeholders are the identifying codes that allow live data to be pulled from the system for use in generated documents, e-mails, and calculated fields.  But not all placeholders work in all three formats, some require different codes for different formats, others require specific conditions for the calculated field.

This section identifies all placeholders for the billing module, and provides the necessary information to use the placeholders effectively.

Depending on product configuration, the navigation path to Word Ribbon placeholders that reference core system fields may differ from those described in this section.

Deductible Invoice Information

These placeholders are for use in preparing templates for generated documents, and are populated by generated invoices and collections for a specific claim. To access these placeholders in the Oceanwide Word Ribbon, select either the GeneratedInvoicesToDate, InvoiceCollectionsToDate, or Invoice option in the Workflow list.

Notes: The Generated Invoices To Date and Invoice Collections To Date placeholders are designed to return multiple results, and must therefore be configured within a custom grid. As such, they should be contained within the appropriate Table Start and Table End placeholders.

The Generated Invoices To Date placeholders return all results with the exception of the most recently generated invoice. To obtain this information, use the Invoice Information placeholders described above.

Billing Integration Fields

Integration Fields are not like standard placeholders, in that they cannot be used directly in documents, e-mails, or calculated fields.  They are used to map a dynamic field to internal system data, so that the dynamic field displays the current value of the integration field.  The dynamic field, however, can then be used as a standard placeholder. 

This is a read-only connection, so any changes to the dynamic field will not be saved.

To create such a mapping, enter the Code for the appropriate integration field in the External Code field in the Field Management page for the dynamic field.  Only one code can be entered for a single field.
